The Llama Farmers

This was a brand design package for a Welsh Bolivian family farm based in North Wales. They use environmentally sensitive, non-intensive farming methods and produce some meat products with Bolivian flavourings.

I wanted to create them a brand with a slight Bolivian theme within the identity. Alice had sketched a Llama and this formed the basis for the lama in the logo, then a Bolivan textile pattern was added in. The rest of the brand logo comprised of a loose handwritten font, topped and tailed by a trendy serif font in caps.

I presented 3 "funky" concepts and developed their preference to a final logo and colour palette.

The brand logo was supplied in full colour as well as black+white for use on boxes and labels.

"After being recommended to us, we decided to work with Michelle as she knew what our business needed even before we did. She collaborated with us from the beginning, turning a collection of loose ideas into a cohesive brand. The designs capture everything we wanted to convey about our business. Though we were not able to meet due to distance, the whole process was smooth and stress-free. It was a pleasure working with Michelle and we are so pleased with the result" Alice Edonborough Gonzales
